Vulnerable

OK Blogger-mates! Today I am not going to post about current issues as I am a bit sick of it. Even though I respect and admire so much people who have putted a lot of effort into it. Honestly, it is really remarkable what they are doing because it’s really fair to fight for goals that look unreachable like the Free Education
Anyway my post today has nothing to do with that.  I want to write about myself. I think in life It’s good talk about things going in our country, but being really honest, I find it so sexy (Ha! By the way, I’m not being cheeky – I am being purely genuine) Well as I was saying, I do find so sexy to expose your intimate feelings, thoughts and weakness. And this is why I am going to do today. Be Vulnerable.
This is a personal way to see things, I know that you may have a different opinion but I will just let you know mine. I think that whenever things outside are crazy! (Just like now!) It’s good to be introspective for a change and talk about yourself.  I do think it’s so relevant to take care of ourselves, I speak with myself all the time and actually I’m good company!  I reckon that the most important person in our life it’s the person you have inside, because at the end of the day you are all that you have.  I mean you couldn’t practice any verb (to love, to fight, to run, to work, to  cry, to feel etc, etc, etc) without you being okay.  I do think that people It’s full of diamonds that need to be showed, to make a person shine. How can you help someone else if you are unwell or in pieces?  I am not talking of being selfish. I am talking of get inside of you and clean yourself as much as you can! And try to Fix yourself and be the person you want to be. And I think happiness has to do a lot with this!

< This is what I like to paint, to put my vulnerable side in my paintings,
just like a way to those fears andbad things in hangin in the wall, outside of myself  >

HOT TOPIC: GM FOOD, ETHIC & PROGRESS

This is a Hot topic to talk about, but It requires a lot of information. I am not so informed about the American seed’s monopoly, but when you put it in that way, it looks crazy!  It reminds me a little bit of what happened with our cooper, we sell the primary product and then we buy it to China as cables and stuff.  It is not new that Chile is starting to sell itself. And it seems It doesn’t matter what party is in the lead. It happens anyway. We should look at our neighbours and learn from them in some aspects. Brazil has certain independence of the international market. They made their own cars, food and products. They have done so well.
It would be so sad that one day we will live in a land that don’t belong to us and we would feel like foreign in our own country.  Things like the Highway’s concession make us think how the future would be if things continue working as they are doing it right now.
When I was at School,  I had to get involve with the GM process, and I personally find it very interesting. I wouldn’t say this is bad, either this is good! But we have to be open minded and give it a chance, always inside a la Lab, not experimenting with people.  In America they have GM food over 50 years and there is still no proof that something is wrong with them.   Genetic issues are extremely delicate issues and we have to put human wellness and ethic in front of any economic development.  And i don’t think that is anti –natural.  God or whoever created us gave us the faculty to develop skills and gain and developed Knowledge. As long we use it wisely and carefully there is nothing wrong with manipulate things genetically.

EDUCATIONAL ISSUES AT THE MOMENT

this kind of manifestations.  I  like the  talks that the  leaders do ,  but I never got  to go to a proper strike , at least in my uni life.   I think that some people take this less seriously and they think it’s a chance to robe and to create a mess and destroy the city. I it’s   a pity to see young and ‘educated’ people acting like monkeys! What can we expect from people that live in fragile educational situation.    But back a few years I did! I had such an active role in the ‘Revolucion  Pinguina’ in 2006,  I was one of the 4 leaders in my school and we even organize   the  strike! That was a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and to share with people I didn’t know so much. We were taking it way serious back then! I felt like the future of new generations was in my hands! And I had to do something!
As I said I won’t go to the   strike on Wednesday as  I am afraid to result damaged or to have problems with police. This things end always like this. We should be an example of education and, in my opinion, when we realize this and we don’t make mess, but a strong pressure, we will be hear clear and loud!
Regards Classmates!

GOOGLE - FACEBOOK

Well I am not a person that loves to surf in internet. I do it because is necessary as it is a great source of resources and information. In my time off  I rarely am sitting surfing on the web.
I guess my favorite sites are Google and Facebook. I know! They actually hate each other but I use them both daily. And it's because in one hand, Gmail is a platform where I can research information, keep myself updated in news and use Gmail. That is where I send all the personal e-mails and papers and layouts to my classmates. Also, is where I chat with people and make voice-calls with some freinds and family when i am away.
Facebook, in the other hand, is very useful. I can send messages to people, organize things, keep updated of gossip and chat with friends. I keep contact with people that otherwise I couldn’t! I know that Facebook has a lot of control over what people's lives, but I don’t care too much as I don’t provide intimate information and I don’t post everything I do.
I visit those sites every day at least once. But when I am on a holyday I like to disconnect from emails, people and other friends. To focus on the persons that I am with, and relax.

Run – Snow Patrol

It’s such a tough choice, because in one hand I have a great tune from Adele that has been in my mind a few weeks, and in the other, the song I’m gonna choose. It has been a favorite tune for so much longer, and it will always bring me up so much calm and good feelings every single time I hear it.  I heard this song for the first time when I was really young and I loved it straight away.  It was back in 2005, when I started to listen it over and over again. I downloaded the full album and I just loved it. Snow patrol has been good company in lonely times since then. They are an alternative rock band from Bangor, Northern Ireland. I just found this last year, so what I feel when I hear it from now on, is that destiny put it into my way like a little sign of what future could bring to me.
Now this song has a very special meaning to me because coincidently it was dedicated to me by a very important person without knowing it was my favorite song ever. I just can explain it as fate.

"Run"

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

Slower slower
We don't have time for that
All I want's to find an easy way
To get out of our little heads

Hush Hush my dear
We're bound to be afraid
Even if it's just for a few days
Making up for all this mess

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

My most valuable technology piece!

Hi everybody!
I would like to start my post, writing about my lap top, it is so useful and help me with my work in Uni. I can work nearly anywhere where I can plug it. But I have to admit that my favorite piece of technology is not the one that I need most. The data-show or projector is the greatest piece of technology in my house. It reunites my family every Sunday! We see a lot of movies, we watch some TV shows and, when colo-colo plays or the Chilean football selection plays - it is fundamental! Beer, football, friends and family is the best!  It is like to have a cinema at home!
We got it last year and since then, we have used it every Sunday! We all enjoy of it. My sister uses it to copy maps in papers for school and stuff like that. So it can be used for other purposes than just entertaining.
In my opinion life would be all right without it, but I think is so much better to have one. It makes of a movie a cool and different experience, is way better than watch a HD LCD or whatever modern TV that is on stores nowadays. But apart from the great that is to watch things in a huge size, the best thing about it is that gives me the opportunity to spend time every Sunday with my family. Quality time.

OXEGEN 2010, A MISSED EVENT!

I have never been in any massive concert. But once I won two tickets to attend to Oxegen 10', the Europe's Greatest Music Festival. It was back in June 2010, when in a trip to Northern Ireland I applied to a competition in Cool FM to win  two tickets  for Oxegen. I had to answer a question about this festival.  The question was: What singer or band is NOT in Oxegen's 10 Line-up? They gave the follow answers:
A) Katy Perry
B) Black Eyes Peas
C) Kasabian
I was lucky and I said the right answer, A!!! Katy Perry!!! Then an outrageous tune was played in the background of our conversation and I got so excited to win those tickets.
Oxegen is mental!  I’ll tell you about it! I think it’s even better than Lollapalooza, you can go for 4 whole days and you can actually set a tent and do camping! In Ireland weather is not so friendly, so the most likely thing to happen is that one of those days- at least -  you will have rain. This is quite exiting, because you get wet but is still quite hot. Well, along with the mud comes the riot! Everybody starts playing with it, you get mud everywhere and girls make mud fights under the rain! Pretty cool! Uh?
People is parting 4 days, you get to meet new people that enjoy the same bands that you like. You see a lot of artist playing. It’s cool mate!

Well unfortunately I never had the chance to go! I was so pissed off! But the tickets worth a lot of money! And as this is a world that moves around money! So I sold them on eBay and I got good quids instead! It made me survive very well for a month! Was a hard choice to make, but not always the easier choices are the sensible ones.

I will leave you some videos and photos of Oxegen! ENJOY!

Sup Guys!

Hi everyone, my name is Sebastian, but fellas call me Sebastian or Seb, I am a 22 year old dude. I am very passionate about my career, I have been studying Architecture in this university for four whole years - and I'm pretty content about my choice and what it involves. I have a lot of interests - most of them are related with design and painting. I have been painting for 8 years and the the thechnique I use is acrylic.  A huge dream is to display my work in galleries as much as it's possible. You can check my work at http://www.sebastianloaiza.jimdo.com/.

I love British  music, this is why I've learnt a lot of my english and pronunciation. I used to watch silly British programs, like Mister Bean, Vicky Pollard (Little Britain) or X Factor UK. My favourite music bands are Scouting for Girls, Keane, Snow Patrol and my favourite, Kaiser Chiefs.

I will leave you some videos to let you know who is Little Britain and a great tune from Snow Patrol!
ENJOY!
